Great shoe!! March 9, 2010

I was diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma which I attribute to wearing tight shoes. I have a wide foot so I always settle for a little extra length so my foot will fit. I never thought that a tight shoe can cause it. First thing I did was look up shoes for the condition and this shoe was suggested. I bought it at extra extra wide and my foot easily fit in. It is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn and didn't require "breaking in". I bought some New Balance insoles also and I can run without the pain of Morton's Neuroma. I strongly recommend these shoes for anybody with the same condition. Worth every penny.
 NB MR1123 - Good shoe but size changed February 28, 2010

Good stability shoe. However the 8.5D size I got is bigger than all the previous New Balance shoes I have purchased in the same size. It feels like a size 9.

This is a very good shoe and it has met all my expectations of it. The width is a little greater than I expected but working out well. Would like to have same shoe with leather upper for winter time wearing.
Neuroma and flat feet February 25, 2010

I have played ball my entire life and still do plus golf and some running. I developed a neuroma on my right foot from the years of pounding punishment on my very flat feet. I was in unbelievable pain. Not wanting surgery, I researched footwear. Found New Balance softball cleats and was able to play softball again pain free. Decided to research a running shoe and came upon the 1123. While I still have some discomfort when I run, I NEVER THOUGHT I'D BE RUNNING AGAIN. Thank you New Balance. The ONLY running shoe I've tried (and I tried ALL the motion control shoes) that allow me to run again. I find myself wearing these all the time. I Was an 8.5-9.0 on a ten point pain scale pre-1123. Now, I'm a 3 and somedays a 1 or a 2. HUGE difference. Feel like I got a part of my life back again. Would really be disappointed if these shoes were ever discontinued.

This is a very good New Balance product. I am pleased with this product. I am heavy, well over 200 lbs. and my feet turn inward. The design of this running shoe prevents this turning and provides an excellent "stabilizer" affect when walking. Also, the "support" is excellent from this men's running shoe. I use this for "walking" a lot and it wears very well! Also, I love that it comes in a wide width for me...a 6E! VERY COMFORTABLE! I have also learned to "trust" Amazon......I do not "Trust" many websites out there selling New Balance and other shoes, but Amazon has treatly me honestly and fairly and has lived up to their promises, from Order, to Shipping, to Delivery!
