They are not good if you have high arches or a high instep. They don't give you much room. They are a very low shoe. Other than that they are well constructed and have a lot of support.

Great price, and the shoe looks great. I'm a size 10 95% of the time...this shoe is tight (good for those with narrow feet) and a little short - 10.5 would probably fit me perfectly. Sorry to have to return them.

Hopefully, this will help you in deciding what size you choose because I have an 8.5 in athletic shoes for a very long time. In dress flats, I usually wear a size 8. So, when I tried these on, as soon as they arrived at my doorstep, it was a bit shocking for me when I could hardly slip my foot into the shoe. I now know this is a problem with buying shoes online, if you don't know what size you are for any given brand. I've never worn New Balance before, and it looks like they don't even have a size 9, it jumps from 8.5 to 9.5 so maybe I never will. If they did fit I think I would have really liked them and could have worn them for a long time.

I purchased these shoes for my daughter but the toe box was not high enough, although the rest of the shoe did fit properly. They looked great but I returned them.

These shoes fit well and provide plenty of support. It is very light weight and I like the contrast in the warm brown with the energetic orange. It's nice.
