Product Description Begin your run in town, take a break on a mountaintop, and return home while wearing the New Balance Mens 621 Trail Running Shoes. New Balance built these shoes to go from pavement to trail. An all-terrain outsole combines on- and off-road lugs for optimal traction on both asphalt and dirt. A dual-density midsole works to both cushion and support your feet, while a Rock Stop 2 plate prevents rocks and other debris from banging up your tender soles.

Lightweight wonder! August 30, 2010 Toni Hampton I bought these for my husband for mountain biking and hiking. He loves them. They are the lightest, most comfortable shoes he has ever owned. Traction is excellent. They are also very stylish. Be warned: These are for warm weather use only. VERY breathable. Also, he replaced the insoles with a pair of 2-ounce Miracles. Says those are much better than the originals. If you are looking for an extremely light, breathable shoe, consider these.
So far, so good May 27, 2010 Aaron R. Hansen (Atlanta, GA) Nothing to complain about yet; they came in a difficult to find size (12.5 4E), so I was pleased to even have a decent option at the appropriate size.
Here's hoping they last as long as my last pair of New Balance.
Great pair of shoes for both on and off the trail February 1, 2010 K. Grooman (Baltimore) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My last paid of sneakers were a trail running shoe by NB and I used them as my every day sneakers. They are comfortable and extremely durable.

I got the New Balance 621 Color: Gray with Orange and Blue Shoe. The style is nice to look at. They don't seem to be very comfortable, just plain on the feet; doesn't seem like there is that 'bounce' or soft padding that I find in other New Balance Shoes, the heel is not as padded .
New Balance is now made in China so the quality suffers, they usually rip in the back part for me in just 3 months.
Light, great shoe October 3, 2009 Cameron D. Johnson (Hilo, HI) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This shoe is very light with a lot of traction. The heel is not as padded as I'm used to though I haven't missed it. The shoe is very stable. I got the 4E and my toes finally have room to breathe.
