sized wrong June 1, 2010 L.S. (Chicago) Seems like a decent shoe, read about small sizing and went up 1/2 size... not enough. At least 1 size too small. New Balance really screwed up - it should not be that far off.

New Balance walking shoe January 23, 2010 R. Howell I found these New Balance walking shoes on Amazon for a very good price that was quite a bit less than the local sporting shop. The size was correct and the shoes are quite nice looking. I wear them to casual places and not just for walking. As for support they rate ok and I do wear my orthotics and that helps. Overall I am more happy with the look and feel of the shoe and not as much with the stability and walking features because I am an overpronator and they are just middle of the road in terms of support. Would buy again based on looks and style.
Size runs small January 6, 2010 J. Klett (Santa Barbara, Ca) I am satisfied with this shoe but I must note I ordered them 1/2 size larger and even with the increase they are a little tight. However they are just what I am looking for so I will tolerate a thin dress sock until they are broken in.
Good shoe but runs a bit on the small side November 23, 2009 Daniel Fletcher 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
First off I should say I have large and somewhat oddly shaped (very wide) feet so finding a good pair of shoes is always an adventure.
I have bought New Balance shoes before and found them to be well made and comfortable, so I decided to stick with them for a new pair of shoes and give these a try. I found that these seemed to run a bit smaller than other shoes I have purchased from New Balance in the past and did not fit as well as I was expecting fresh out of the box. However after a few days of minor discomfort breaking them in I was much happier with the fit.
I have been wearing these daily for about 1 month now and other than the size seeming to be a little smaller than other New Balance shoes I have no complaints. I like the way they look, they are comfortable, and thus far are holding up well.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a good walking shoe, but be aware they seem to run a little small so you might want to get a size higher than you usually do.
